To improve the resistance of polyester tent fabric to mildew, mold, or bacteria, several treatments or finishes are commonly applied during or after the manufacturing process. These treatments are designed to enhance the fabric’s performance in outdoor environments where moisture, humidity, and microbial growth are common. Here are the main treatments:

1. Anti-Microbial Coatings:
Silver-based Treatments: Silver ions are known for their antibacterial and antifungal properties. Silver-based treatments can be applied to polyester fabric to inhibit the growth of mold, mildew, and bacteria. These treatments work by disrupting the cell membranes of microbes, preventing them from proliferating.
Zinc-based Coatings: Zinc oxide or other zinc compounds may be used for their antimicrobial properties, offering protection against bacterial growth and mildew formation.

2. Mildew and Mold Resistant Chemical Finishes:
